The Arc of Wake County

The M'n'M Singers are a group of adults with developmental disabilities who have a wonderful time sharing with the community ways in which they are differently-abled. They perform regularly at churches, civic groups, and community events. Members promote the acceptance and understanding of, as well as respect for, persons with developmental disabilities.

The choir was organized in 1988 to provide an outlet for creative expression through music, and at the same time, to encourage social interaction and good old-fashioned fun. In its years of existence, these goals have been met as the group has demonstrated to the public that each individual has unique talents to share with others.

The rehearsals take place weekly, on Monday evenings.

An accompanist is desired to support the choir director in leading a group of adult singers with developmental disabilities. Sight reading, free accompaniment, and transposition on the piano are valuable skills for leading the Grace Notes as a group and as individuals.
